The introduction to the Autoshop comes when the player first enters the LS Car Meet. A cutscene is played where the player is introduced to the different elements of the LS Car meet. Halfway through the cutscene, KDJ(previously known as Moodyman) enters driving his car along with his girlfriend Sessanta. They ask Mimi, the founder of the LS Car meet if she found someone for their new business opportunity. Mimi replies by asking for some more time and that she is working on it.

After the cutscene, the player receives a notification saying that the Autoshop can now be purchased. To purchase the Autoshop, the player must open the Smartphone, navigate to the Internet app and go to the Maze Bank Foreclosures website. From here, the player can purchase an Autoshop with any of the following upgrades:

Style- The paint and artwork on the walls and the floors of the Autoshop.

Tint- The accent colour of the Autoshop.

Emblem- The Emblem the is displayed around the Autoshop. This can be customized from a set of preset options or the Crew Emblem.

Staff- This is one of the most important upgrades. The player can send the Staff to deliver a vehicle after it is serviced, while the player focuses on other jobs, businesses or heists. The player can choose between a single staff member or two different staff members to run 2 deliveries at the same time.

Personal Quarters- This upgrade can be purchased if the player wants to spawn in the Autoshop.

Car lift 2- Purchase this to have an additional service order.

When the player first enters the Autoshop, he is greeted again by KDJ and Sessanta who introduce themselves as the Managers of the Autoshop. To set up the Autoshop property, the player must retrieve Sessanta’s Obey Tailgater S and bring it back to the Autoshop. After this, the player is allowed to run business operations in the Autoshop.

There are 2 sections to the Autoshop. The first is vehicle servicing. This part of the business is found on the ground floor. This is similar to the Import-Export business with slight changes. The cars spawn randomly in the Autoshop. The required upgrades and services are specified, unlike the Import Export business where players can apply any upgrades to the vehicle. The servicing cost also varies widely depending on the upgrades, however, this amount is only a security deposit and is returned back with an additional commission when the car is delivered. The earned commission also varies a lot.

The second part of the business is found on the upper floor. These are contracts and are similar to the Heists in the game where the player finishes setups before the main finale. These setups and the finale, however, are a lot shorter compared to the actual heists in game and also pay lesser. There is believed to be 8 such different jobs and are mostly believed to be drip-fed into the game.

There is another part to the Autoshop where the player can earn money by delivering the vehicles on the Exotic Exports list to the Docks. This list can be found on the upper floor in the Autoshop by the office. The vehicles can be found in freemode either by stealing them off the street or as blue dots on the minimap.
