Olympian Simone Biles and her NFL star fiance Jonathan Owens have made headlines since their relationship went viral. Recently the duo has been gathering more attention as the wedding is near. Sometime ago Simone told People how she appreciates her mother and how much her parents mean to her.

She didn’t forget to mention how she idolizes them and looks up to them for the strong foundation of love and trust they built up together. On Instagram, Simone teased her fans in a bride dress noting, “On bride duty”, to which Owens commented, “I can’t wait.”

Simone and Owens stardust love story reached its height even before the NFLer proposed to her. She said that when she saw Owens with her mother and how he was taking care of her, she knew he was the one. Simone told E! News Francesca Amiker, “I knew he was the one when I first met his mom”.

Simone further continued saying, “She has a little bit of a disability with her walking, she’s gotten a lot stronger, but how he treated his mother and how he treats women, I was like, ‘Wow.'”

Though that wasn’t all. Both being important figures in the sports world meant they got less time for each other. Fortunately, that wasn’t the case for Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens. Even within their hectic schedule, the duo kept in touch igniting their romantic relationship.

Simone further tells how Owens takes the time off to call her after his daily 6 am – 6 pm practice. The Houston Texans safety went down on his knees proposing to Simone in February 2022. Simone wore a black short dress while Owens donned a gray suit. 

Simone says, “Almost weekly he brings me flowers”. “It’s kind of cliché but it’s just so cute because, after his practices from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., he still takes the time to put a smile on my face.” “The wedding is coming up,” Simone teased. “I’m super excited about it. I’m stressed out.”

Simone is getting ready for the big day and her bridesmaid dresses are all prepared. When asked how her wedding theme is being planned, the Olympian gold medalist replied, “very classic and elegant” theme. “Our colors are white, gold and champagne“. 

“Jonathan likes ice cream cake so we’re going to get that for the groom’s cake. I’m more of a red velvet girl, so red velvet or a lemon cake—we’ll see.” On Valentine’s Day last year, Simone captioned on her Instagram page, “THE EASIEST YES”.

“I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! Let’s get married FIANCÉ @jowens_3.” Both of them are quite open with their relationship. They have been keeping their fans in the loop while planning for their forever happiness.
