LA Lakers are struggling but LeBron James is giving his best even at the age of 37, he scored 43 points against Portland Trail Blazers because of which Lakers got the landslide victory with 35 points in 139-106 score. This was LeBron James seventh consecutive score above 30 points in the last few games.
In a post-game interview, he was asked about what was going into his mind before the game. James replied, “Just getting the proper rest, putting in the proper work. I’m always keeping my mind into the game no matter what’s going on, even though, you know, yesterday was my birthday, we had a day off. I still had my mind on what I could possibly accomplish, you know, just the day after, which is today, against Portland and just going out and I’m in a damn good zone right now and I want to try and stay in it as long as possible. This is who I am and I wanna continue to be that, continue to lead this team.”

A journalist even asked James about his thought process when people talk about his 19-year-old career. He said, “I don’t feel like I have been in the league 19 years. When I am daily reminded of it, I feel it sometimes.” He also added, “Sometimes you do have to remind people you can still do what you can do at a high level.”
LA Lakers are in high advantage that LeBron James is totally fit and showing such progress with his leadership quality and handling both offence and defence for the team even the main centre Anthony Davis is injured, when asked about the situation James said, “If that’s what our team needs to win, I’m OK with that, I’m not a guy who goes out and sees if I can jack up a bunch of shots. The streak I have been on with my scoring I have been efficient. I take pride in that as a player.”

On this LeBron James said, “we`re getting all our guys back the north system to know what we can do, we are getting our blue guys back like Austin Reeves, AV Bradley, Trevor Ariza all our guys that kind of do dirty work for us. Every game we’re starting to get pieces of our nucleus back, pieces of our rotation back.”
James further added, “And it’s my job to make sure that, you know when I`m out on the floor that I put everybody in position and Rush job is to hold people accountable itself and me.”
Lakers recently broke their five consecutive losing streak and have won two games out of three which has helped them to regain some confidence. Let’s see can LA Lakers continue with their consistency in winning the game or prove themselves as the contender for 2021-22 NBA championship.
