IPL 2020: 10 Hilarious memes on SRH v KKR match

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a thrilling Super Over today at Abu Dhabi. SRH won the toss and put KKR in to bat first. KKR got off to a steady start by lost Rahul Tripathi off the last ball of the Powerplay. Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana then were involved in a good albeit slow partnership. Following their dismissals and that of Andre Russell who disappointed again, skipper Eoin Morgan and Dinesh Karthik exploded at the death and took KKR to a competitive score of 164.

Chasing 165 to win, SRH decided to rejig their batting order by sending in a limping Kane Williamson to partner Jonny Bairstow. The duo got off to a flying start as they reached 58 for no loss in the Powerplay. However, the duo perished soon and so did Priyam Garg who was promoted up the order. Manish Pandey was then castled by a Lockie Ferguson yorker, one of the New Zealander’s three wickets in the second innings.

Despite David Warner and Abdul Samad’s best efforts, SRH could only take the game to a Super Over as they scored 17 off Russell’s 20th over. In the Super Over, Lockie Ferguson was at it again as he castled Warner and Samad to leave KKR with just 3 runs to get which they did with ease.
