Table-toppers Delhi Capitals are all set to take on MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in match 34 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. The two sides will lock horns at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah on October 17, 2020 (Saturday) from 7:30 PM (IST) onwards. DC emerged as the winners at the last time these two teams met in Dubai.

Unfortunately, the news coming from the Capitals camp isn’t much delightful for the fans as skipper Shreyas Iyer got his shoulder injured during the last match. He didn’t take the field after that incident against RR. And there’s still no positive update coming on his return ahead of the CSK clash. Moreover, Rishabh Pant will continue staying out of the XI due to the thigh injury.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Last year’s runner-ups Chennai Super Kings have failed to perform like a champion side in this season thus far. With just three wins in eight matches, CSK holds the sixth spot at the Points Table. But MS Dhoni and co. registered a comfortable win in their previous encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

CSK players batted with a lot more intent during that clash, trying out different things that yielded them the result. Sam Curran opened the batting with Shane Watson, and Chennai played with an extra bowler too. After getting the desired result, CSK will continue with their winning combination in this clash as well.
