IPL 2020: Injured Dwayne Bravo sends an emotional message before leaving CSK camp
Ace West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo recently got ruled out from the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan confirmed this news from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Caribbean all-rounder hurt his groin during the match against Delhi Capitals leading to his exit from the CSK camp in the middle of a poor run.
The 37-year old is expected to leave UAE later this week. Before heading for his home, he shared a heartfelt message for all CSK fans. The official social media handle of the franchise shared a video of Dwayne Bravo.
“It’s sad news, it’s sad to be leaving my team CSK. To all our CSK fans, I want you all to keep encouraging the team, keep supporting, all the true die-hard CSK fans,” Bravo said in a video message uploaded by Chennai Super Kings (@ChennaiIPL) on Twitter.
“This wasn’t a season we expected, or our fans wanted, but we gave it our best. Sometimes, despite giving our best, the results don’t show. Keep supporting us, and I can guarantee you we’re going to come back stronger and better like champions. One of the most successful franchises, I feel we should be proud to be members and fans of CSK,” he further added.
Dismal performance by CSK players in IPL 2020
Chennai Super Kings players have disappointed everyone with their performance so far in the tournament. The three-time IPL champions have managed to register only three wins in ten clashes to find a spot at the last position in the Points Table.
CSK’s campaign derailed even before the season began. Chennai lost two of their most important players Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh before the tournament started. Adding to this, Bravo’s exit will further make them look miserable in the ongoing IPL edition.
