IPL 2020: Rahul Tewatia, Rajasthan Royals only ‘Royal’ performer this season!
Rajasthan Royals (RR) is now out of the race to the IPL Playoffs after their loss to Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR). Looking back at this season, RR will obviously find more negatives to talk about than positives. One of such positives for RR was the performance of RR bowling all-rounder, Rahul Tewatia.
The 27-year-old all-rounder had grabbed attention after his match-changing knock against Kings XI Punjab on September 27th. He not only brought victory to his team but also set the IPL record for the highest successful run-chase.
Tewatia’s other performances in IPL 2020 were nothing short of phenomenal. His performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) was another proof of his merit.
Here, RR lost half their wickets by the 12th over. At this point, there didn’t seem to be any hope left for RR to win. Despite that, Tewatia built a strong 85 runs partnership with Riyan Parag to lead his team to victory. He later picked up a well deserved, ‘Man of the Match’ award that day.
