IPL 2020 RCB vs SRH: A dream debut for Devdutt Padikkal, fans compare with legend Yuvraj Singh

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) gave a chance to Devdutt Padikkal in their opening game of IPL 2020. The 20-year-old batsman from Karnataka impressed everyone on his debut. It turned out to be a dream start for Padikkal who notched up his half century in his very first IPL game.
Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bowl first. RCB started the innings with debutant Padikkal and Australian skipper Aaron Finch opening the innings. Padikkal made a dazzling start to his IPL career and brought up 56 runs in 42 balls with 8 boundaries.
Fans were eager to see the Debutants for their respective team. Sunrisers Hyderabad gave a debut to Indian U-19 Captain Priyam Garg, whereas RCB brought in BBL-star Josh Philippe and Padikkal in their blazing lineup.
Padikkal reminds fans of Yuvraj Singh
The ability of the left-hander Padikkal reminded fans of Yuvraj Singh. The Kerala-born Padikkal hit scintillating shots against a top bowling lineup of Sunriser Hyderabad.
He smashed 2 boundaries in the second over of the game against Sandeep Sharma and later hammered T Natrajan and Mitchell Marsh for runs. The debutant looked confident and struck eight boundaries in his innings with a strike rate of 133.33.
Fans were pleased with the X-factor of young-gun Padikkal and compared his talent with all-rounder Yuvraj Singh. A fan praised him as a mix of Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh. A majority of RCB fans thanked Royal Challengers Bangalore camp for giving the left-hander his debut in IPL 2020.
The two openers gave a bright start to RCB after adding 90 runs for the first wicket. Padikkal lost his wicket to Vijay Shankar after smashing his maiden IPL half-century.
Padikkal’s brilliant start to IPL 2020 impressed RCB fans who would be looking for their first IPL title in 12 years.
