A century in T20 cricket is the most special thing for a batsman, and at the same time, it’s not a usual sight in the shortest format. And in the Indian Premier League (IPL), like international cricket, only a few could reach the three-figure mark.

West Indies legend Chris Gayle used to top the list among batters with the most IPL centuries but Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) Virat Kohli has surpassed the Universe Boss in the list when he slammed his seventh ton in IPL 2023 and is expected to smash a few more.

However, there are also batters who have hammered centuries for two different franchises. A total of 11 batsmen have done this since the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008. In this article, check when and for which teams these 11 batsmen slammed their two centuries.

Before plying his trade for RCB, de Villiers was a ‘daredevil’ and scored his maiden IPL century for the Delhi Daredevils to beat CSK by nine wickets in 2009. An on-song de Villiers feasted on Muttiah Muralitharan and Andrew Flintoff. He remained unbeaten on 105 by consuming 54 balls.

For RCB, he smashed two tons. His first, memorable 133* with 19 boundaries and four sixes in 59 balls while stitching a 215-run stand with Virat Kohli against Mumbai Indians in 2015 at the Wankhede Stadium.
