Is Pokimane Blackfacing? Pokimane had recently come to flaunt a new hairstyle, that was far from what her fans had seen before, albeit it was original. She had been shying away from the Twitch reveal initially but then she came to terms with it.
However, some of her fans had been asking her whether she has been blackfacing, given she had changed her blonde hair to black curls. The article talks about the fans accusing Pokimane of Blackfacing, and HasanAbi calling them out for being insane.

Is Pokimane Blackfacing?
Imane “Pokimane” Anys is a Moroccan-Canadian Internet Personality. She is mostly known for her Twitch streams and youtube videos. She is also a member and founder of OfflineTV, a group of Social Media Stars. This organization is a social media entertainment group started by William “Scarra” Li and Chris Chan, Li’s manager.
She has recently changed her hairstyle to bouncy black curls, instead of regular blonde hair. This had led to many speculations from her fan community, including the fact that she might be blackfacing.
Blackface is a form of theatrical makeup used predominantly by performers of non-African descent to portray a caricature of a dark-skinned person of African descent. This was accused by one of Pokimane’s fans. However, she had not replied to the thought.
Hasan Doğan Piker, also known as HasanAbi, is an American Twitch streamer and left-wing political commentator. He had been reacting to her stream and pointed out the question was absolutely insane.

It is clear fans should be a little more judgemental before passing comments about internet personalities otherwise they would have to face criticism from many sides.
