The boxing legend Mike Tyson has been uploading powerful training videos on social media. He holds the record for the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles. He also holds the Junior Olympic record for the quickest knockout. In his 58-fight career, Tyson won 50 of those matches, 44 of them by KO. The American was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2011.

Tyson’s comeback will be a reality in 6 weeks. British boxing champion Anthony Joshua hopes Tyson sticks to the exhibition fights and doesn’t try and hit up the main division. Joshua is a two-time unified heavyweight champion holding the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO titles.

What Joshua Has To Say On Tyson’s Comeback

Joshua told Sky Sports, “You see a clip on social media and you think: ‘He’s back in action, he’s fighting fit.’ But it’s like an old-time footballer doing a crossbar challenge!”

“Tyson hitting pads with ferocious behavior is second nature to him. But to someone watching from home? It’s like he’s going to rule the heavyweight division. It’s a passion they both love, it’s what they know. Tyson has been fighting since he was 13. Jones’ dad pushed him to be a great. It’s all they know. They haven’t got to compete with the young lions of the division. We’re bigger, stronger, science has improved so we have more technology,” he further said.

Joshua doesn’t seem to have anything personal against Tyson and added, “If Tyson wants to come back and fight someone from his era, for the love of the sport? Crack on. I hope it adds value to the sport we love.”
