In Short
  • Jaxson Dart and Marissa Ayers attended the 152nd Kentucky Derby, showcasing stylish outfits that captured public attention.
  • Golden Tempo won the race, making trainer Cherie DeVaux the first woman to win the Kentucky Derby.
  • The couple also participated in the Kentucky Oaks, embracing a Barbie and Ken theme with their pink attire.

In the pristine Churchill Downs in Louisville, the 152nd Kentucky Derby hosted some of the big names of the sports and entertainment industry, and it was more or less a pre Met Gala event in itself. Marissa Ayers, a social media influencer, and her hotshot quarterback boyfriend, Jaxson Dart, were among the attendees, dazzling the audience and the internet with their looks.

Ayers and Dart were dressed to the nines: flashy, loud, bold, but classic and well-suited to the event. The New York Giants QB, 22, described his outfit as a white Dolce & Gabbana suit with black pinstripes and a matching Bellissimo hat.

Meanwhile, Ayers shined in a light blue dress from Nordstrom, sparkled with Prada accessories and a black and white fascinator from a local New York shop.

In the highly anticipated race, onlooked by several A-listers, Golden Tempo cruised to a victory in 2:02.27 and final odds of 25-1. Golden Tempo’s dashing win after a tight neck-to-neck battle against Renegade made his trainer Cherie DeVaux the first woman trainer to win the Kentucky Derby and the second woman to win any of the three American Triple Crown races. It was also the first-ever victory for Tempo’s jockey Jose Ortiz. His brother Irad Ortiz Jr. jockeyed the second-place finisher Renegade.

Earlier, the power couple also attended the Kentucky Oaks on Friday. The Kentucky Oaks, which features all-female horses, has a tradition of its attendees wearing pink to honor the fillies and raise awareness and money for breast and ovarian cancer.

The duo kept to the tradition, choosing a Barbie and Ken theme, Ayers sporting a hot pink outfit completed with a boujee hat with a bright pink bow. Meanwhile, Jaxson Dart matched her with a pink jacket over a striped blue shirt, blue pants, and a white hat to go along with it.

The pair reportedly went on their first date in October and started exclusively dating one another soon. Rumors of their relationship went viral in the next month, after it was reported that the pair attended a Halloween party together. Though it was almost confirmed, the pair only went Instagram official in early January. Since then, they have been easing into the public fame that comes with their stature.

Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson also made a stop in Churchill Downs

From the world of NFL, former New England Patriots head coach and six-time Super Bowl winner Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson were another couple that made headlines with their presence in Louisville on Saturday.

The 25-year-old model also made a joke out of their picture walking through the dirt to get to the event, posting the picture with the caption, “Not the first time we’ve trudged through mud together.” It hasn’t been a year since the couple became one of the most controversial figures after a highly scandalous interview with CBS.

The pair initially wore a lighter attire for the event and later changed into a more classic wear for the red carpet later.

In addition to Hudson and Belichick, there were several other NFL athletes in attendance for the first Triple Crown race of the season. Philadelphia Eagles’ Cooper DeJean stepped out in a classic ensemble of a suit jacket over a white undershirt and matching pants to go.

However, it was Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Abby Summers‘ presence that left everyone gasping, whether it was an intentional hard launch. Summers’ friend and Cowboys cheerleader Kleine Powell‘s comment on the pre-race TikTok video made by Summers hinted at DeJean taken off the market.

Free agents Von Miller and Cameron Jordan, Belichick’s former protege Rob Gronkowski, CBS host Nate Burleson were another formidable names from the NFL world to dazzle the venue.

Former WNBA player Sue Bird joined the others in Louisville. From the non-sporting world, there were countless popular figures like Neil Patrick Harris, Bon Jovi, Anthony Ramos, among others.
