Robert Griffin III went after UFC heavyweight fighter Josh Hokit on Sunday. Following his 10th career win during Sunday’s UFC Freedom 250 at the White House, Hokit made some unsavory remarks about Michelle Obama.
Hokit competed against Derrick Lewis. He dominated and eventually won the bout with a TKO. Joe Rogan interviewed the 28-year-old, and that’s when he made an unsavory comment about the former first lady.
Listen, Alex Pereira, I’m going to chama on your mama… [And] Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?
Hokit said on the microphone
Rogan abruptly ended the interview by saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit.”

Robert Griffin III posted a long tweet criticizing Hokit for his remark.
Josh Hokit won the biggest fight of his career at the White House and decides to finish his interview by calling Michelle Obama a Man. What a disgrace. It takes a really small man to use his biggest moment to attack a woman by calling her a man. Especially with the history behind calling Black women men.

Especially with the history…
Hokit is infamous for blurting out controversial takes in the past. But this takes the cherry off the cake. And the place and timing are crucial as well. He wasn’t only at the nation’s capital, but it was also the sitting President, Donald Trump’s 80th birthday. Cameras caught Hokit helping Trump wear his winner’s medal as a token of congratulations.

Is Robert Griffin III Japanese?
Griffin grew up in Texas. After graduating from high school, he attended Baylor University and represented the Bears football team for four years. In his senior year (2011), Griffin threw 291 completions for 4293 yards, 37 touchdowns, and just 6 interceptions, along with rushing for 699 yards and 10 touchdowns to win the Heisman Trophy (given to the best football athlete in NCAA Division I football).

The Washington Commanders drafted Griffin second overall in 2012, and he later played for the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens, spread across eight seasons. He retired after the 2020 season.
Currently, RG3 operates two podcasts and makes frequent appearances on various channels to share his expert opinion. He also covers college ball for FOX Sports.
With college football and the NFL season over for another year, America turned to hosting the biggest sporting event of the year, the 2026 FIFA World Cup. On Sunday, Griffin watched Japan and the Netherlands play at Dallas Stadium in Arlington.
The Dutch took the lead twice, but also conceded two goals, one late in the second half, to secure a draw. RG3 tweeted a photo wearing a t-shirt that contained flags of both the USA and Japan.

The term “Blackanese” is usually used for Black individual who trace their roots in Japan. Griffin was born on the island of Okinawa to American sergeants Robert Griffin Jr. and Jacqueline. They later moved to Washington and then to Louisiana.

At full-time, Japanese fans stayed and cleaned the bleachers before leaving. RG3 praised them for their humble gesture.
The Japanese show respect wherever they visit. Cleaning the stadium enforces their belief in servant leadership. That’s Japanese discipline. “A bird that flies never leaves a trace.” Respect where you are, so they respect where you are going. Beautiful.
