Kelly Oubre Jr. was super blunt when he shared his thoughts about playing at the New York Knicks’ glorious arena, the Madison Square Garden. He made fun of the guest celebrities who visited the arena for the fun of it and not for the love of the game. 

During a press conference ahead of the first-round playoff game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Knicks, the small forward acknowledged the Knicks fans. He stated that celebrity guests prefer to spend on expensive tickets just for the publicity. 

They call it the Mecca of basketball for a reason… They’re going to give celebrities those $100,000 free tickets just to be there and not care about the game, but that’s what they do.

Tsunami Papi has responded to a viral post by Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler after the former had caused his MCL sprain injury during the Philadelphia 76ers’ 105-104 win in the NBA play-in tournament on Wednesday. After the severity of Butler’s injury was announced, Butler took to the social media platform Instagram, where he wrote: “We throwing hands.”

Oubre responded by using the video 50 Cent used when boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr called him out. 

The win allowed the 76ers to seal the 7th seed and book a game against the Knicks. This led to K-9 calling out the Knicks’ celebrity fans, thus setting up an electric encounter.
