At this year’s Elimination Chamber PLE, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was due to hear from Cody Rhodes about whether he’d sell his soul to ‘The Final Boss’ or not. What was Rhodes’ response? Telling the TKO’s Board of Directors member to “go f**k yourself.” Every wrestling fan is well aware of what transpired after that. ‘The American Nightmare’ was made to pay for his brazen refusal.

Is there anyone who wouldn’t pull off a Cody Rhodes if given a chance? The answer to that is Kevin Owens. The Quebec-born wrestler recently responded to a fan on X, where the latter asked Owens to sell out to The Rock and become a champion upon returning.

KO said he would’ve done it in a heartbeat. If one would check out Johnson’s comments on Pat McAfee‘s show after WrestleMania 41, he confirmed that a number of top guys in the company have told him that they’re open to his offer.

It appears that KO would be someone to keep an eye on if Rock comes back to WWE to continue dangling a carrot for the upper echelon stars. If that does work out well for a talent like Owens, the fans couldn’t be happier. The former Universal Champion has only held one world title in WWE on the main roster, and that too in the previous decade.

That tremendous title reign had to end in shame when ‘The Prizefighter’ got squashed by Goldberg at Fastlane in 2017. Chris Jericho once revealed that he and Owens were originally set to main event WrestleMania 33 with the then-Universal title on the line. However, Vince McMahon changed it to Goldberg defending against Brock Lesnar, as ‘The Beast’ had demanded it.

Kevin Owens shares a significant update after neck surgery

Kevin Owens underwent a successful surgery on his neck on July 18. Earlier this week, the ‘Headlock Master’ made his first public appearance since the medical procedure at NASCAR’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 event in Daytona. He also provided a major update on his current health and what challenges could preclude him from making an in-ring return.

First things first, Owens confirmed that he needed a neck fusion surgery, which had him freaked out going into it. Fortunately, it was a level 1 fusion as per the damage, and there couldn’t have been a better scenario for these kinds of situations, added Owens. Coming to how the road to recovery looks, it’s hinged on the fusion of the bones.

The 41-year-old said there’s no guarantee if things will work out in his favor. But if they do, he could return to wrestling in the next year. The former Kevin Steen also shed some light on the lighter WWE schedule these days, allowing superstars to be with their families more often than ever before. While he’s cherishing it, Owens is also jonesing to be back in the grind of being on the road with WWE.

How did Kevin Owens react to Naomi being pregnant?

The hilarious social media game of Kevin Owens is still unbeaten. His congratulatory post on Naomi revealing she is pregnant made rounds on the internet. The former United States Champion referred to ‘Big Jim’ as ‘Gigantic Jim’ and hoped for his baby with Naomi to turn out to be a decent human being, unlike other members of the Anoa’i family.

Owens’ jab could be justified by how much he’s been traumatized for years by Roman Reigns, The Usos, and even Solo Sikoa‘s version of the Bloodline. Netizens joined the banter by claiming that Owens must’ve been going through PTSD while writing the aforementioned note.

Out of everyone who sent their well wishes toward the parents-to-be, the one having KO’s stamp on it stood out from the rest. There’s a slight chance of Naomi and Owens returning to WWE around the same time in 2026 if everything falls into place.
