Lando Norris’ Hilarious Reaction after Defeating Max Verstappen for Best Overtake of the Season

With the 2021 Formula 1 season now over, there are several things that are being looked back upon. Max Verstappen reigned supreme as drama gripped the season. A roller coaster ride, there were several moments of brilliance from other drivers as well, such as Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez.

As the fans took a throwback to the season, some of the best overtakes of 2021 were finally revealed. Amongst them were Charles Leclerc, Yuki Tsunoda and Lewis Hamilton. As expected, Max Verstappen was also on the list, but he had only the second best overtake of the season. Lando Norris, the youngster driving for McLaren took the top spot.

As fans on twitter were asked to choose between the two overtakes of the season, Lando reigned supreme, taking 53.8% of the votes as compared to 46.2% that Verstappen got. The fantastic overtake by Lando was on Charles Leclerc. Norris finished seventh on the points table this year.

After a fantastic start to the season, his consistency and luck gave out in the last few races, costing him precious points. While Lando did get a few podium positions this year, he did not win a race. As McLaren took one-two at the Monza Grand Prix, it was his teammate Daniel Ricciardo who led, unfortunately denying the youngster of his victory.

Norris made a joke about the incident, tweeting on the most saying that it was his first win of Formula 1, a dream which is yet to come true.
