LeBron James who’s currently the face of the Lakers franchise is undoubtedly one of the best players in the league. On Tuesday night in a game against the Houston Rockets, LeBron James crossed the mark of 36000 point’s and became the third player in the franchise history to reach the legendary title.
The four-time MVP managed to surpass the former Laker Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who was once the all-time leading scorer in the NBA. Kareem retired in 1989 with 38,387 points setting in for himself. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the year 1975, following his career further with the franchise till 1989.

LeBron James has been having a great season statistically though his team is somewhere in the nutshell standing seventh on the Western Conference roster. He’s been averaging 28.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game which is among some of the best players in the league.

Marcus Spears thinks that LeBron James is “The King”, as he continued to improve at the time when he was already the best.
In a discussion, ESPN’s sports analyst Marcus Spears was seen favouring LeBron James in comparison to other players in the league of being the best. With not even a second of thought, he declared the Lakers guard as the best basketball player he has ever witnessed.
Marcus said, “LeBron James is the best basketball player I’ve ever seen.” Commenting further on the same he said “I’ve never seen a basketball player better than LeBron James.”
Spears went on to explain the reason of why he considers LeBron James as the best basketball player in the NBA. As he said, “I understаnd thаt this debаte rаges on, but LeBron Jаmes is the greаtest in my opinion. Whаt it аll comes down to is… not only how his gаme hаs progressed, but аlso the pаth he’s tаken to get there.”
Marcus Spears also touched on the fact that LeBron James is the best because he was pushing himself when he was already the best in the league. Quoting the same he said “We discussed his inаbility to shoot, so he improved his shooting skills. We discussed his post gаme, аnd he improved his post gаme аs а result. He put things into prаctice in his gаme аnd cаreer, аnd he continued to improve аt а time when he wаs аlreаdy the best.”
It seems there is no ending to the debates of LeBron James in comparison with Michael Jordan. Knowing the fact that how Michael Jordan changed the game and LeBron James being the best after that era is a kind of biasness and unfair in some regard. But respecting everyone’s opinion is also very important in the same.
