LeBron James Schools Young OKC Heckler During Game 2 Loss: “I’m a Grown Man”
Opposition fans try their best to rile up Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James any chance they get in their respective arenas.

- LeBron James confronted a young Oklahoma City Thunder fan during Game 2, asserting his maturity.
- Shannon Sharpe expressed disappointment in LeBron's passive performance in Game 2, calling for more aggression.
- The Lakers must win Game 3 to avoid being swept in the series against the Thunder.
LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers knew they would have to face a strong Oklahoma City Thunder team that would also have their home fans cheering them on every step of the way in Game 2.
If the first game of this Western Conference semi-final was anything to go by, the men in purple and gold had to play a lot better than they did.
No one gave the Lakers even an outside chance of defeating OKC. But some expect the former to at least avoid a sweep and win a game or two.
The King did his part in Game 1, but his teammates didn’t. In Game 2, they came out with vengeance on their minds and started to play in a manner that was good enough, at least in the first half.
It seems Oklahoma natives thought that getting into LeBron James’ head could work in their team’s favor. A clip surfaced after the game showing the league’s all-time scoring leader interacting with a fan.
I’m a grown man.
LeBron James said
It was not pleasant, as he was essentially telling the younger Thunder fan that James was old enough not to take whatever he was saying. Usually, James responds in such a manner when the fan in question says something out of line.

Maybe this young fan tried to say something that irked the four-time champion enough that he had to stand up from his chair and remind the fan of his place.
The irony is that none of the Thunder fans sitting around this particular fan stepped in to support him. That was different from an incident earlier in the regular season. Maybe they, too, felt that he was out of line.
Shannon Sharpe not happy with LeBron James’ performance in Game 2
While LeBron James managed to control the young Oklahoma City Thunder fan, one of his longtime supporters was unhappy with his performance in Game 2.
I was disappointed in LeBron’s play tonight. He wasn’t aggressive at all. He was very content to just stand in the corner and then try to get that ball at the nail, and then try to do something. That’s not going to cut it.
Shannon Sharpe said on Nightcap
This was NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe, who has argued with his colleagues time and again to prove the Akron native’s standing as possibly the greatest player of all time.
Shannon Sharpe says he was disappointed in LeBron James play in game 2:

But after watching his effort at Paycom Center, the three-time Super Bowl winner was not happy. He wanted James to be as aggressive as he was in Game 1.
Instead, he saw a passive effort, which reminded Sharpe of how LeBron James played earlier in the regular season. That, to the former ESPN analyst, is not enough if they are to topple the defending champions.
LeBron James and his teammates are in win-now mode
As the series heads West to Los Angeles, the Lakers do not have an option other than to win at least one of the two games at Crypto.com Arena.

In fact, if LeBron James wants to avoid his team from getting swept, they have to win Game 3 on Saturday. They cannot convince themselves of going into Game 4 with the momentum and pressure at its peak.
Win Game 3, and maybe the Lakers can fancy a chance at winning the next game. It is still a tall task, but there were sequences in Game 2 that could excite franchise fans.
After all, the team was up by one point at halftime. That does not happen against the Oklahoma City Thunder. But if the so-far lopsided officiating improves considerably in Los Angeles, the Lakers can think of turning the tide against OKC.
