The Super Bowl LX is such a big stage that it draws the who’s who of the sports and celebrity world. But when Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton and socialist Kim Kardashian appear together, the conversations start to change.
Usually, international acceptance of American football is poor, at best. Since soccer is their preferred choice of field sport across the world, the game played in America is trolled or scoffed at for labeling it as anything related to the original sport.
Even President Donald Trump called for the game’s name to be changed, as he also reiterated that the sport is not played with the feet as it is in football, which is played across the world.
In this instance, it seems it was love that brought Lewis Hamilton to Levi’s Stadium. He and Kim Kardashian have been rumored to be in a relationship for quite a while.
Even though neither of them has publicly made it official, many in and around the Formula 1 star’s circle are worried that the famous ‘Kardashian Curse’ might impact the 41-year-old. But that did not deter the Ferrari driver from traveling to what used to be his native nation’s colonies to be with the mother of four at Super Bowl LX.
Cameras caught the two sharing a moment with each other, with Kim Kardashian taking amusement from something the seven-time Formula 1 champion said.

Lewis Hamilton’s Formula 1 rival cheers on Seahawks at Super Bowl LX
Lewis Hamilton may have been drawn to Super Bowl LX by the prospect of spending a lot of time with rumored girlfriend Kim Kardashian. After all, the game alone takes two hours to complete.

Combined with the halftime show, that means they can get a lot of time with each other. But surprisingly, the Brit was not the only Formula 1 star at the greatest American sporting spectacle of the season.
Lando Norris, who was just crowned the 2025 Formula 1 champion, was also spotted sitting in the luxury boxes at Levi’s Stadium. The McLaren driver is no stranger to American sports, but taking time out to watch this game means he was interested in the action.

Unlike Hamilton, Norris did not have his better half, Portuguese model and actress Margarida Corceiro, along with him. But he was glued to the action, and was captured on camera cheering on when the Seattle Seahawks scored in the first quarter.
A third British Formula 1 driver savors Super Bowl LX show
Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris had their own interests to take time out and make it to San Francisco to watch Super Bowl LX live. But the league wants more foreigners to watch their spectacle as they push towards increasing global acceptance.
It seems Roger Goodell and his team worked hard, as they managed to bring some of the biggest names in European sports and entertainment. The most notable on that list was George Russell, lead driver for the Mercedes Formula 1 team.
Along with him were pop star Harry Styles, comedian James Corden, former soccer player Giorgio Chiellini, and others. It seems that even though the NFL probably paid them to come and watch the game, it might have interested them enough to at least attend.

There was a time when the league struggled get foreign sporting greats to even accept their superstars as accomplished equals. With three British Formula 1 drivers leading the way, it is possible that Goodell’s plan is working.
