WWE has become the land of injuries lately. The latest scare was Cody Rhodes, who crashed on the mat while performing the famous Cody Cutter. Now, major concerns have risen over the condition of the American Nightmare.

According to some reports, Cody Rhodes has suffered a shoulder injury after SmackDown. He landed directly on his shoulder with all of his body weight. Therefore, the injury could sideline the American Nightmare for the foreseeable future. The WWE Universe awaits further news on the superstar’s condition.

However, fans should take this report with a grain of salt. The seriousness of the injury is uncertain. Therefore, he might be back in the ring without any need for surgery. However, if it is something serious, he will join the likes of Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins who are all out because of injuries.

Besides, the American Nightmare has a big match coming up. He is all set to face AJ Styles at Backlash in France for the WWE Championship. A long-fought victory at WrestleMania XL bestowed the championship on his shoulder. An injury at this point can be devastating for him and his fans.

Former WWE Superstar predicted the length of Cody Rhodes’ title reign

Cody Rhodes has a huge target on his back, as every other superstar is coming for his title. Stars, including The Rock, could be gunning for his title. Former WWE Superstar, Aiden English recently predicted the length of the American Nightmare’s reign. He believes it might last up until WrestleMania 41.

Speaking on the Rebooked podcast, English said Cody’s reign will not be a transitional one. He claimed that it will last for at least 8 to 9 months. The former WWE Superstar expressed he might face The Rock to culminate their feud next year.

I would imagine Cody is not in line for any even remotely 'transitional reign.' Even if it doesn't last another four years. I mean, we're getting six-eight-nine months out of this at least. I would imagine probably even next year's 'Mania. [I can see Cody walking into 'Mania as champion.] Yeah, I think we're gonna go to Cody-Rock potentially at 41.

On the Raw after WrestleMania The Rock revealed that he would come after the new Undisputed Champion down the line. Therefore, it is much more likely that Rhodes won’t lose the championship soon. It opens the possibility of many mega matches for him in the future.
