Martina Navratilova slams Donald Trump for lying about Brian Kemp’s calls to Joe Biden about Hurricane Helene
Martina Navratilova censured Donald Trump for lying that Joe Biden did not call Brian Kemp to talk about Hurricane Helene.

Martina Navratilova lashed out at Republican nominee Donald Trump once again after he claimed that Joe Biden did not respond to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp‘s calls. Kemp belongs to the Republican Party and called Biden on Sunday night about Hurricane Helene.
Trump, however, claimed Biden was “sleeping” and did not respond to Kemp’s call. The White House, though, confirmed that Biden did call Kemp and also talked with North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, and the mayor of Valdosta, Georgia, Scott Matheson. Apart from these people, the 81-year-old also talked with John Louk, the Emergency Management Director of Florida. On Monday, Kemp confirmed that he had talked with Biden.
The president just called me yesterday afternoon and I missed him and called him right back, and he just said, ‘Hey, what do you need?’ And I told him, ‘You know, we’ve got what we need, we’ll work through the federal process’. He offered if there were other things we needed just to call him directly, which I appreciate that.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp told reporters
Navratilova, who is fully supporting the Democrats in the upcoming presidential election and has always been a harsh critic of Trump, slammed him again on X. She responded to a report from NBC News which criticized the former US president for lying even after knowing how the people have suffered from the hurricane.

Martina Navratilova slammed Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan for perfume claims
Ustadh Abdulrahman, who claims to combine the experience of traditional Islamic scholarship from the East, as well as the knowledge and understanding of the West, recently talked about women and their wearing perfume in Darussalam mosque in Southall, England.
He stated that women are not allowed to leave the house wearing perfume and if a woman does that, she is a “fornicator“, calling it “dangerous.” When Martina Navratilova came across that video, she was just not ready to believe a bit of what he said and harshly slammed him on X.

Navratilova has never shied away from giving opinions about women’s empowerment. She keeps questioning those who don’t advocate for things that benefit women, which is why she has also been criticized heavily for her stance against trans athletes’ participation in women’s sports.
