Mike Perry will fight Jake Paul at the Amalie Arena in a boxing bout on July 20th. Both fighters are quite popular in the world of combat sports, resulting in an impressive hype around the bout. While many fans and experts call Jake Paul a ‘money fight,’ Mike Perry seems to differ from the analogy.

Jake Paul’s journey from an internet personality to one of the biggest faces in boxing is quite commendable. The 26-year-old often boasts about helping his opponents make millions by letting them fight with him. However, Perry made a shocking revelation about the pay to Demetrious Johnson.

However, Perry has stressed the fact that his fight purse to fight Paul is similar to his BKFC contract.

Perry earns significant amounts from his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) fights. For instance, he made $600,000 for his fight against Thiago Alves at BKFC KnuckleMania 4. Additionally, he earned $1.1 million for his bout against Eddie Alvarez at BKFC 56. He also made a similar amount for his showdown against former middleweight champ Luke Rockhold.

Even though Perry is not fighting for money against Jake Paul, a potential win can open up great opportunities for the fighter. Perry can extend his boxing career and fight against some bigger names in his weight class. Nevertheless, everything will depend on the upcoming July 20th.
