Agitated Braves vs Phillies fan
The Philadelphia Phillies took on the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday, in their first game of the National League Division Series in their home ground. Though things didn’t go as expected for the Philadelphia Philles and the Atlanta Braves took home the victory with a score of 7-8 which led to some mis understanding between the fans as well.
There was some heat in the stands between a fan adorning the Atlanta Braves jersey and cap could be seen throwing his drink on a Philadelphia Phillies fan, standing a couple of rows behind him. Not only did he throw the drink, but he also threw the emptied cup on the fan and rushed to pick up a fight.
The aggravated Braves fan then rushed to the Phillies fans climbing over the rows and went up to him and most probably wanted to take out his aggression on the Phillies fans with his fists. “You want the beatdown?! Yes or no?! Do you want it or not?!” said the agitated Atlanta Braves fan to the Phillies fan and his friend.
The Atlanta Braves fan wife was against him?
Chris O’Connell of Philadelphia’s Fox 29 spoke to the Philadelphia Phillies fan about the incident with the aggressive Atlanta Braves fans and he as per the Phillies fan and his friend they both tried to maintain their cool but somehow things went out of hand. “He threw a drink in my face, he was yelling at me that I was disrespectful, but I was just trying to, like, play it cool, tell him I was just trying to watch Phillies-Braves,” the fan said.
As per the Phillies fan and his friend the Braves fan wife was also on their side. “His wife was telling us, ‘Oh, he’s fine, he’s fine,”. Then another Braves fan came to their rescue, pulling the agitated fan away.
