Following a terrorist attack carried out by Hamas, Steve Garvey, a renowned baseball player of the 70s and 80s, who formerly played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres, expressed solidarity with the Israeli people. In response to the weekend attacks, Israel carried out airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. The deaths of at least 14 Americans were a consequence of the attacks initiated by Hamas.

Garvey expressed his prayers for the entirety of Israel’s population in his interview with Fox News Digital. “Our hearts go out to you, and we are deeply saddened. Our commitment to supporting you and standing by you remains unwavering, regardless of any situation.” The White House expressed strong disapproval of the terrorist attacks in Israel.

More than 1,000 individuals from Israel lost their lives due to these attacks, triggering a war that resulted in numerous casualties among Palestinians as well. Garvey announced that he has aspirations of running for the US Senate in California. He used to believe it wasn’t the appropriate moment before, but presently he holds a different view.
