Retired welterweight “Funky” Ben Askren weighed in on the controversial Logan Paul and Dillon Danis feud. Ahead of their upcoming boxing match, Danis took to the internet to post graphic photographs and details about Paul’s fiance, Nina Agdal. Most posts pertained to Agdal’s s*xual past, including some posts that were too explicit. In response to this, Agdal had filed a restraining order against Danis.

“He did win the trash talk! Because he got inside Logan Paul’s head so bad, that Logan Paul is suing him. That’s insane,” said Askren in an interview with Happy Punch. “I fought Logan’s brother, and he tried talking about my wife. And it wasn’t a big deal. Cause I got a great wife and I love her, and we have no issues.” Askren threw shade on said checkered past, saying that if someone has to sue for it, they are too self-conscious of it.

Dillon Danis still remains adamantly nonchalant about the whole feud. He was a no-show for the hearing concerning the restraining order requested by Agdal. This resulted in New Jersey federal judge Madeline Cox Arleo enforcing the restraining order. Despite this, he has continued posting explicit content online, that too, a day after the charges were filed.

Paul and Dillon Danis are facing each other on Oct. 14 in Manchester, England, during the DAZN x Misfits PPV card, which is also to be Paul’s boxing return. Notably, KSI and Tommy Fury are also headlining the main event on the same fight card.

Dillon Danis has warned Logan Paul amidst an online feud

Bellator fighter Dillon Danis is set to fight YouTuber Logan Paul but has already participated in multiple online bouts with him. Paul, who used his fame as a YouTuber to foray into boxing, has had no success in the ring so far. As such, taking a fight against the flamboyant Danis was a strategic decision to pull more viewers for his return. As such, he shouldn’t be surprised to see Danis leaving no stone unturned to sell the fight, including going after Paul’s personal life.

Dillon Danis had been posting explicit yet public content from Agdal’s past. Subsequently, he has even taken to posting unseen pictures with some of her ex-partners, including celebrities such as Leonardo Di Caprio and other famous personalities. Agdal has filed a restraining order, which was enforced with 21 interim days for him to give notice, reported TMZ. Amidst the legal proceedings, he has warned his opponent in simple but stern terms.

Oct. 14 will be a day both fighters look forward to. The bout is scheduled for six three-minute rounds and will be contested at 195 pounds. Moreover, Paul has already assigned former UFC fighter and bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry as a backup in case Dillon Danis is a no-show.
