BKFC 41 became the best Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event in the company’s history. The event featured a light heavyweight contest between Luke Rockhold vs. Mike Perry. The highlight reel moment of the PPV came at the end of the main event when the UFC superstar Conor McGregor entered the ring to face off against Mike Perry.

After defeating Rockhold, Perry wished to face off against Conor McGregor, and the Irishman obliged. He entered the ring and faced off with Perry, that excited fight fans around the world. BKFC became the best combat sports brand on the planet on that day when McGregor entered the ring. The Irishman is notorious for being the biggest box office star in the sport of MMA. He also greatly impacted the BKFC, according to their president David Feldman.

Feldman said, “We did six-figures in pay-per-views, a little north of six figures, which was very, very good for us. We projected to do almost double that, though, and actually, I just got a report in today that says they found 734,000 illegal streams from that event. So I’m not even pissed off. That’s 734,000 people that watched this event, on top of the people that bought it. We had north of 1 million people in the United States watch this event live. Unbelievable for us.

Feldman revealed the illegal stream of the event. However, he was not upset because the illegal streams would put more eyeballs on the BKFC brand. Hopefully, the company will build on the attention that McGregor gave them. The fight card also featured two of McGregor’s former opponentsEddie Alvarez and Chad Mendes. Alvarez defeated Mendes in an action-packed contest.

Irish superstar Conor McGregor will return later this year to fight Michael Chandler. He has not fought since his leg injury in 2021. Dana White and the UFC remain keen to book the fight. However, White spoke about the complications of the bout in a recent interview.

He said, “I think being here and part of the environment and everything else, he felt it again and felt like he wants to get back to fight. The one thing you guys have to understand is this kid has so much money. It’s like Khabib now. These guys got sh*tloads of money, and it’s hard to reel these guys in and get them to get in and fight.

Dana White feels that McGregor has made all the money in the world and does not need to fight anymore. However, he also said that McGregor enjoyed the TUF season 31 and wants to return to active competition.
