The internet is left in a frenzy as controversial kickboxer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were recently arrested by the Romanian police for alleged s*x trafficking. Several fighters have reacted to this situation. While some show support for the influencer, others find amusement in the arrest.

Andrew Tate is one of the most popular personalities on the internet and has found himself in hot waters very often. The fighter has been detained on counts of alleged human trafficking charges. Back in April, Tate and his brother were investigated for the same allegations.

Tate has grown to be one of the most popular figures in combat sports with several prominent names having his back. Despite the serious allegations against the former kickboxer, many combat sports athletes have raised their voices against the arrest of Tate. The Tate brothers were detained on kidnapping and r*pe charges according to the Romanian outlet Libertatea.

Tate’s response video to Greta Thunberg was used as proof by Romanian forces to confirm the kickboxer’s location. Top G’s response video showed a third person bringing in Pizza.

Jake Shields, Hasim Rahman Jr, and more athletes show support for Andrew Tate

The former fighter has been previously seen hanging out with UFC champions, Aljamain Sterling and Leon Edwards. Jake Shields recently was heavily criticized for making vile remarks about Gerta Thunberg amidst Tate’s spat with the environmentalist. Fans are unhappy about the fighters showing support for Tate and his brother.

While fighters like Shields and Kelvin Gastelum speak out in support of Tate, Lauren Murphy, Chris Curtis, and others seem to dislike the former kickboxer. Murphy resonated with the words of Greta Thunberg while the rising UFC middleweight is amused by Tate’s “pizza story.” KSI, the popular YouTube boxer was in splits after the arrest of Tate.
