Andrew Tate is a controversial and polarizing figure in the online space. People have contradicting opinions about him, either idolizing his antics or completely condemning it. Either way, Tate became a well-known personality. Now, UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan praised him for his intelligence and fighting skills. Only recently, UFC champion, Jon Jones applauded Tate for sharing his wisdom.
On his JRE podcast, Joe Rogan revealed he knew Andrew Tate well before he blew up on the internet. As such, he called Tate ‘Smart’ for knowing how to gain attention on the internet and many of his ventures. However, he didn’t approve of his views toward women. Further, he even claimed he knew Tate because of his kickboxing career. Here is what he said:

Andrew Tate was an accomplished kickboxer with multiple championships to his name before he broke out through the internet. As such, Joe Rogan had high praise for Tate’s fighting skills. He recalled Tate’s fights from Enfusion Kickboxing promotions and complimented him as a ‘solid fighter’.
Rogan has his fair share of criticism about Tate. But he welcomed a man of his kind to share his views and even supported his overall teachings. Tate has completely transformed into an internet personality and left his kickboxing career. However, a few rumors made rounds last year of him fighting Jake Paul, but nothing came to fruition.
Joe Rogan clarifies why Andrew Tate is appealing to the young audience
Joe Rogan has always been an outspoken person. As such, he revealed his thoughts about Andrew Tate and why he was successful in capturing the attention of the younger generation. Tate became famous on the internet post-lockdown for his controversial opinions about women, masculinity, business, and more.
On his JRE Podcast with Derek who has interacted with Andrew Tate before, Joe Rogan discussed the reason for his appeal. He claimed Tate became popular because he represented men in a way that they’d never been shown on mainstream media. Here is what he said:

Also in the podcast, Joe Rogan questioned whether the persona Andrew Tate projected in his videos was real or not. However, one could not come to a conclusive thought about it until Tate honestly reveals it himself.
