Tyrone Spong is a legend of the fight game. The Surinamese Dutchman has competed in professional boxing, kickboxing, and even MMA. In addition to being a fighter, Spong is an avid animal enthusiast, as evidenced by the tattoos on his body. He even has four pit bull terriers, which he bred all by himself. Now, a video of Spong catching a snake went viral on social media.

Spong casually catches a long wild snake from a roadside field in the video. From the video, it was certain that this was not the first time. At the beginning of the video, the snake tried to go to the fields from the road. However, Spong pulled it back to the road, after which the snake attempted to bite Spong. When the snake tried to bite, Spong showed his impeccable reflex as he jumped backward. Nonetheless, that did not scare Spong away.

Spong patiently waited for the snake to go to the field. As it moved to the fields, Spong very quickly caught the snake by the neck. After he caught the snake, he posed for a picture with the snake as there were some witnesses to the scene. Spong then proceeded to lift the snake with one hand on the neck and the other on the tail and put it on the cargo bed of his truck.

Famed MMA coach Henri Hooft got into coaching MMA because of Tyrone Spong. It was Spong who invited Hooft to the Blackzilians, where Hooft was the chief standup coach. Now, at KillCliff MMA, Hooft is the head coach of noted MMA fighters like Gilbert Burns, Shavkat Rakhmonov, and Michael Chandler, to name a few. Former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman won the title with Hooft as the head coach. However, he later changed camps and trained under Trevor Wittman soon after.

Tyron Spong retired from kickboxing in 2016 after recovering from a brutal leg break. Spong is undefeated in professional boxing and was once set to fight Oleksandr Usyk, but a doping violation halted the plans. Spong competed thrice in MMA with a 2-1 record. His latest fight was against Sergei Kharitonov at Eagle FC 44, which he lost via TKO.
