Joey Logano is one of the most revered drivers on the NASCAR field. The 34-year-old currently drives for Penske and is a two-time Cup Series champion. However, with such fame, certain obligations increase in a driver’s life making them ignorant towards other factors of their life, which the No.22 driver gave an insight into how he manages his responsibilities as both a driver and a family man.

Racing drivers are celebrated worldwide for their abilities to beat death and do certain acts that are only imaginable. However, drivers have often sacrificed other essential things in their lives to reach such a level of perfection. This has led to increased feuds within their households urging them to strike the Goldilocks zone to enjoy their current status both on and off the tarmac.

My phone is odd, I just don't answer it if it's something that can be pushed for tomorrow because I just want to be a hundered percent all times... Um, but you know other times I just don't know.

Joey Logano elaborated that he usually ignores his phone when he is with his family. This has helped him build a stronger bond with his family members. He further reiterated that when drivers give their 100 percent at their jobs, they also need to give the same amount of effort at home to make a household a flourishing one.

If you’re going to do this for a long time, you have to  to do it correctly. If you’re going to give 100 percent to your job, you have to give 100 percent at home, too, because if things aren’t right at home, you’re probably not going to be at your best at your job, either. So I’ve got to make sure I do that balance correctly the best I can.

The former champion is a father to three kids. His kids often do wild side quests whenever he is not attentive. This has warranted a reduction in his exposure to devices as he now surveillances around the house to prohibit his young ones from doing more adventurous tasks.

Anybody watching this with young kids knows you take your eyes off those kids for a second, they’re gone. They’re gone. They’re doing something else. They ran away. They jumped in the pool or something. They’ve done something really scary. So you’ve just got to be aware all the time

On the other hand, the No.22 driver has been struggling in recent times but has ensured his place in the playoffs. However, he is more determined than ever to increase his tally of championships going forward as he recently revealed his ambitions to win the championship. Thus, the 34-year-old might become a triple Cup Series champion by the end of the year if things went his way.
