The NASCAR Cup Series is at Nashville Superspeedway for the Cracker Barrel 400 after a challenging Coca Cola 600, where the whole community paid tribute to late Kyle Busch. This weekend might start the beginning of things going back to normal and 2014 has predicted who he expects to see on the victory lane.

Ex-SHR driver Kevin Harvick on his Happy Hour podcast picked Joe Gibbs Racing No:11 Toyota Camry driver Denny Hamlin to secure the race win. It is the third race Harvick is picking the racer, as he predicted the No:11 team to be in the victory lane last two weekends as well. He won the Dover All-Star race but was able to secure just P3 at Coke 600.

I’m going to stick with my horse, and that’s the 11. Go ahead, guys.

Kevin Harvick said on his podcast.

Kaitlyn Vincie, the co-host of Kevin Harvick’s podcast, also shared her prediction. Instead of picking Ryan Balney like she did for the last two weeks, the Fox Sports personality is expecting Tyler Reddick to secure a win. It would mark the sixth win of the season for the No:45 Toyota Camry team, who are the front runners to win the championship.

Honestly, though, I had to laugh, because I was like this man has psychic abilities, because every week he’s been very, very good. He did pick up points, so did I. [Mamba Smith] did not… I’m staying in the Toyota family, I’m going with Tyler Reddick. Gets it done out there in Nashville, Music City.

Kaitlyn Vincie added via Happy Hour podcast.

The third co-host of the show Mamba Smith also changed his pick for the race week. He went for another TRD driver, the No:20 Toyota Camry pilot Christopher Bell. The racer hasn’t won a single race this season and is desperate to do so after finishing P2 last week (the second time this season).

I’m going with C. Bell. We’re going with one Christopher Bell this week.

Mamba Smith asserted.

Kevin Harvick reveals how the war with Kyle Busch made him a better racer

In the same podcast, Kevin Harvick talked about Kyle Busch who recently passed away and explained how the late legend made him a better racer. They were playing a cat and mouse game throughout their career, as they cherished the moments of beating each other.

It was definitely an up-and-down relationship. I think for me the thing that I enjoyed the most was beating Kyle. And the thing that I know that he enjoyed the most was beating me. And it was a cat-and-mouse game for a long time, because there were Truck teams and businesses and things involved that it was more than just the driving part.

Kevin Harvick said.

Furthermore, he admitted that they fight between them over the years was like a war and they were fighting for superiority on the track as well as mental superiority. He feels without the ex-JGR driver his career would’ve never been the same.

The thing about Kyle is Kyle was so good and so fast you could never let him think that he had the upper hand from a mental standpoint. It was a war. Literally a war as we went through the years… That’s what we did for a long, long time and probably the best thing that happened in my career was I had a competitor that wouldn’t back down like Kyle did. It made me a better driver.

Kevin Harvick added.

The comments from the veteran racer are on point and shows how having great drivers alongside him makes him better. It would be interesting to see how the community is going to continue expanding the legacy of the veteran.
