The 2024 NASCAR Cup season hasn’t been really great for Trackhosue Racing star driver Ross Chastain. He hasn’t been able to secure a win so far this season and but is in strong position to secure a place in the playoff with just points. Chastain is P8 in the points table because of the consistence top-15 finishes he has been able to secure this season.
While Ross Chastain has been able to secure the best finish of P4 this season, which is one of his two top-5 runs of 2024, his teammate Daniel Suarez has secured his playoff spot with his win at Atlanta. Going into this weekend’s race at Nashville, the defending winner Chastain coming in hoping to end his winless streak.

While giving his prediction for the coming race weekend via his podcast, 2014 Cup champion Kevin Harvick predicted a Ross Chastain win at Nashville, despite it being the home track of multiple racers. He asserted that the unique nature of the track benefits Chastain more than any other driver in the NASCAR grid.
I'm going with last year's winner, Ross Chastain. I think it's Hometown lot of lot of people, just a it's kind of a different racetrack. I don't think they've run as good as they need to run, but he's just been knocking out decent finishes, and I think that this racetrack is unique enough to get somebody like Ross in contention to win.Kevin Harvick said via Happy Hour Podcast.
Mamba Smith bets on Alex Bowman to win at Nashville
At the same time, Harvick’s co-host Mamba Smith doesn’t think the Trackouse driver would win. As he has done often this season, he is betting on Alex Bowman to finally end his winless streak considering they have been really consistent so far this season.

I'm going to go with Alex Bowman and Blake Harrison, the #48 Ally team, love it's their it's their yeah, it's their allies race weekend up until this weekend, and even this weekend he was running in the top 10. I think it's time for them to get a win.Mamba Smith said.
It would be interesting to see which of the two drivers would end their winless streak at Nashville or will another driver capture the race win. Both drivers can get into the playoff on points, but a win can do them a world of good this season.
