With combined 233 NASCAR triumphs from all three series, Kyle Busch is the wingiest drivers in the sports’ history. His ‘never settle for second’ attitude delivered him the success that many of his compatriot’s envy and he has no plans to change his attitude.

That applies to his own son Brexton Busch, as in a recent interview, he admitted that he is ready to wreck the young Busch it a race win is at stake. In a conversation with PRN Live, Kyle Busch asked about his ex-rival Kevin Harvick being aggressive with his son Keelan Harvick on track when they race each other.

He was asked if Brexton will get the same treatment as the 2014 Cup champion is giving his son. The RCR racer asserted that he will and highlighted how Harvick was showing Keelan who is boss with the move. In the same conversation, the two times Cup champion explained how he has so far been fair with his on the track.

Oh, yeah. Yeah. I mean, we’ve raced against each other a couple of times, and I’ve been really fair with him and really clean with him. He might get stuck on the outside, and I’ve got to build a gap because I see him out there. So, I got to build a gap for two guys with people behind me to let him in, you know, so I’m feeling some bumpers from behind to try to help him.

Kyle Busch wants his son to break his NASCAR record

In the same conversation, he was asked about someone breaking the win record he has set in the three series. Busch has 63 Cup wins; 102 O’Reilly Series wins and 68 Truck race wins. He wants his son to break this record, but understand the limitations he will have with rules that limit part-time entries in the lower series.

It depends on what the rules look like down the road. My years of being able to rack up so many wins were when there were no limitations on being able to run the Truck Series races and the Xfinity Series races.

Kyle Busch said.

Furthermore, he asserted that records are meant to broken and he wants another racer to have the same experience as him, winning 20-23 races a season in different series. He is training his son to break this record, before someone else does.

It was pretty awesome winning 20-23 races in a season across all three series, but we will see what that looks like going forward. All records are meant to be broken, right? Maybe I will stick around for a long, long time. Maybe someone out there will one day break it. Maybe I am training that young guy who’s going to break it. My son, Brexton.

Kyle Busch added.

But at the same time, the is winning more races in the lower series and extending his record. Once RCR redeem their Cup program, they would be winning more races in the top division as well, closing in on the magical 250 wins number.  It would be interesting to see how everything is going to playout for the Busch’s in the coming years.
