The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season is set to kickstart with the iconic Daytona 500 race and the racers are excited for the Great American Race.  As part of the media day, Fox sports, one of the official broadcasters of the event, assembled the drivers for session asking them to name a driver the wants as their teammate.

One of the drivers to answer the question was the 2021 Cup champion Kyle Larson and he had one of the best answers. He wants none other than the two times Cup champion of RCR, Kyle Busch, who is technically a teammate of his at the moment as they both race Chevy’s. Larson wants work and learn from Busch just like he did with Kurt Busch at Chipp Ganassi Racing.

It’d be really cool to be teammates with Kyle Busch. And I feel like I kind of am, in a way, you know, with the Chevrolet Alliance. But I just feel like he’s so experienced. And I’ve gotten to work with his brother at my time at Ganassi. And yeah, I would love to get to work closer with Kyle.

Kyle Larson said via Fox Sports.

When Kyle Busch was asked the same question, he didn’t even hesitate to name Kyle Larson, revealing he is also open to a Kyle and Kyle battle. The 2012 Cup Series champion and RFK Racing owner driver Brad Keselowski also chose the Hendrick Motorsports champion as the driver he wants to work with.

You know, the one that probably stands out the most is Kyle Larson. I would have loved to have had him as a teammate at one time.

Brad Keselowski said.

Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski are in high demand

Alongside Kyle Larson, other veterans that the current generation of drivers wants as teammates are Brad Keselowski and the reigning champion Joey Logano. Ross Chastain picked the Team Penske No:22 driver as the veteran can push him more and is capable of teaching him win under tough conditions.

Alex Bowman chose Logano for the same clutch performance factor of Logano. Erik Jones chose Keselowski as veteran has a lot to teach him while Chrsitopher Bell chose the Ford veteran for similar reasons as well as the intelligence factor.

23XI Racing Bubba Wallace and Hendrick Motorsports’ Chase Elliott chose 2023 Cup champion Ryan Blaney, owing to their close friendship. Blaney on the other hand said he wants both Wallace and Elliott as his teammate, as he believes racing with his best buddies will be special.
