F1 World Champion Max Verstappen exclusively races on this NASCAR Track on iRacing

The iRacing is the premier sim racing platform in the world. Many of the world’s professional and casual sim racers use it to experience several motorsport series. It has cars and tracks modeled around its real-world counterparts. The event was conducted strictly following the actual rules and regulations of the racing discipline.

iRacing platform mimics real-life driving close as possible, and the drivers are confined to cockpit view, contrary to other video games. The game has driver and safety rating systems alongside a well-regulated licensing system. It is also a pro-license available to professional gamers participating in events organized by the platform.

The platform has official partnerships with multiple premier sporting organizations and events. One of the best-performing events is the NASCAR e-Racing. The premier stock car racing has many fans, and Max Verstappen, the reigning F1 reigning one of them. Verstappen partakes in professional e-Racing for Redline, exclusively races of NASCAR Truck series events in Talladega Motor speedway.

Business Insider editor Alanis King revealed the 2022 Formula 1 champion’s likeness towards the events.  She took her official Twitter handle to share the Red Bull driver racing stats from December 23 in Truck events he ran that day on the platform. She captioned the post, “My husband and I looked up Max Verstappen on iRacing. He races exclusively NASCAR Trucks at Talladega,”.

Max Verstappen is a NASCAR fan who struggles to watch the races

Max Verstappen is no stranger to NASCAR and is a fan of the discipline. His Girlfriend’s sister is engaged to Mexican NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez, so he even has a racer to cheer for while watching. But the tight racing schedule he has to follow makes it hard to invest time watching the premier stock car racing races.

Verstappen once told CBS sports that he always tries to watch most American racing series. After his race days, he watches F1’s US cousin, IndyCar. He said, “I always try to watch as much as I can. The thing is that, mainly with IndyCar, when I come home from another race, that’s around 10-11 in the evening, so that’s okay,”.

The Red Bull driver often finds it hard to watch NASCAR races as it usually starts at midnight. He said, “But normally, NASCAR starts around midnight! So, unless I want to make it a late night, I can watch it, but unfortunately, like most nights, I struggle to watch it,”.
