‘I put myself in a bad situation,’ Daniel Suarez on his disappointing Coco-Cola 600 outing as he once again comes up short in the ‘best car’ on the grid

NASCAR hit the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday for the iconic 600 miles of Racing in the Coco-Cola 600, the ‘Crown Jewel’ of cup racing. The race had pure chaos and craziness on offer for the fans alongside some long but amazing racing where Joe Gibbs Racing veteran Denny Hamlin came out top, securing the major Trophy which has been eluding him for a long, ahead of teammate Kyle Busch.
Though Kyle Larson was the dominant performing Chevy in Sunday’s race the Trackhouse Racing’s No:1 and No:99 Camaro ZL1s showed equal dominance. Ross Chastain led the most laps in the race with a whopping 156 of them whereas his teammate Daniel Suarez led 36 laps. Both of the drivers had stage wins to them as they found their way around the crashes easily until the final stage when both of them came up short.
Ross Chastain was part of the incident in the final part of the race where Austin Dillon took out Kyle Larson, Chastain, and Joey Logano all three of who were the front runners giving Denny Hamlin the chance to go and get the win. Daniel Suarez saw his race end much early in the final stage as his tight car was helped to spin on the track by Chase Briscoe who was having an amazing towards the front.
Daniel Suarez spun in the mid-track and took out the No:17 car of Chris Buescher with him causing him to crash upside down on the turf. Now Daniel Suarez has come forth addressing his run at 600 miles expressing his disappointment.

Daniel Suarez acknowledged that the reason for his crash was the fact that his car got tight as he failed to have enough clean air which the Next-Gen cars really need he found himself middle of the wake. He went on to say he put himself in a bad and tough situation and added that he is glad Chris Buescher as he crashed him out and forced his No:17 car to land upside down.
“I just got tight. With these cars, clean air is very important. They were side-by-side in front of me. I was fine in front and eventually, I got in the middle of the wake and I got super tight. I put myself in a bad situation there. It was just a tough situation. I’m just glad Chris (Buescher) is fine,’ Daniel Suarez said.
He went on to say that his team has been building rockets and he had the best car out there. Daniel Suarez went on to say it was a struggle for him in the pit road due to the trouble with the No:22 and No:11 teams which whom they shared space with. He concluded by saying that he has to learn from it and come back stronger.
“My team has been building rockets. We had the best car out there. It was a struggle for us on pit road. Not my guys, but the situation where we were in with the 22 (Joey Logano) and the 11 (Denny Hamlin). We have to learn from it and come back stronger,” Daniel Suarez added.
