‘It’s unbelievable to be a part of the All-Star Race,’ Cole Custer on aiming to make his third consecutive All-Star start at Texas Motor Speedway

The Texas Motor Speedway will host the All-Star race weekend this Sunday where the Cup drivers will go at each other in the million Doller run. This will be the second successive All-star race held on the Texas Motor speedway. The only in-season non-point race in the 1.5-mile oval will be a blast for fans.
No. 41 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing driver Cole Custer will hit the track on Sunday for his 3ed consecutive appearance in All-Star racing and will be hoping to get the speed that can lock his place in the Million Dollar Race. Cole Custer will have to top the 50-lap Open stage to join his SHR teammates Kevin Harvick, Aric Almirola, and Chase Briscoe in the final round.
Now the two times Xfinity P2 championship finisher has come forth expressing his opinions on the All-Star race and what he hopes to achieve there as he is yet to finish inside the top 10 this season.

Cole Custer acknowledged that he finds it unbelievable and claims that a spot in the All-Star race is something that you can’t take for granted as you never know if you are going to make it every time. He went on to say that he will be going all out at Texas to get into the million-dollar run and acknowledged that winning the race will be a life-changing moment for him adding he will not be holding back any degree at Texas.
“It’s unbelievable to be a part of the All-Star Race and it’s something that you can never take for granted because you never know if you’re going to be in it every single year. So, we’re going to go all out to make it for the third year in a row. The chance to go for a million dollars and the possibilities of winning that and how that would change your life is definitely huge. To have that chance is unreal, so we’re not going to hold anything back,” Cole Custer said.
He went on to say that if you want to see cars going really fast Texas will be a place to go as the track offers a lot of grips, speed, and size. Cole Custer went on to say he will be going hard as he can the whole lap and the whole race and suggests that he expects an exciting race at the oval.
“If you want to see some cars going really fast, then Texas is the place to go. I mean, it’s just a big track, a lot of grips, a lot of speed. We’re just going as hard as we can pretty much the whole lap and the whole race,” Cole Custer added.
