Kyle Larson opens up about the ‘Race for the Championship’ series which will benefit cup drivers

‘Race for the Championship’ is the USA network series which offers fans a glimpse into life at large for NASCAR drivers. The 2022 season has already premiered its first episode, showcasing the first race of the season, the Clash at the Colosseum.
The series follows the life of nine NASCAR cup series drivers and their teams. Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson, Ross Chastain, Corey LeJoie, and Daniel Suarez. They are the featured drivers.
The 2022 defending champion Kyle Larson is one of the prominent members of the cast. The champions of NASCAR and non-NASCAR campaigns will be part of the show. Now, in his recent interview, the No:5 HMS driver has come forward expressing his thoughts on how the USA Network series will benefit drivers as well as the sport.

Kyle Larson pointed out that the series is a great opportunity for the drivers as well as the sport to expand grow its fan base. He added that it’s fun being part of such a program that gives fans a glimpse into the driver’s life, on and off the track.
“I think it’s just a good opportunity for all those drivers to grow our fan base, grow the sport, and let people kind of get a glimpse into our lives and what goes on at the racetrack, away from the racetrack and all that. It was fun to be a part of and still be doing stuff with it,” Kyle Larson said.
Kyle Larson added that the show gives outsiders some idea as to how the cup drivers balance racing and family. He acknowledged that he is excited to watch the latest episodes of the show that will showcase his competitor’s work-life balance and their race shops as well.
“Kind of get it an idea of what my weeks look like in balancing, racing and family and all that. So, I’m definitely excited to see the episodes and excited to learn more about my competitors and what they’re into, and how their race shops operate as well. I’m every bit as anticipating all these episodes as everybody else is,” Kyle Larson added.
