NASCAR Kwip Trip 250 at Road America

NASCAR 2022 is soon about to reach the end of its regular-season events with not many more races to go, they will be heading to Road America this weekend to host their next round of races and this will be the third road course event of this season with the first two being the Echopark Automotive Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas and the Toyota Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway and we have seen the newly emerging team Trackhouse Racing dominate every other team with Ross Chastain winning at COTA and Daniel Suarez winning at Sonoma.

The series which will be run at Road America will only include the Cup Series and Xfinity Series with the Camping World Truck Series returning next week at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, the events at Road America will mark the second weekend after the break with the first one held at Nashville Superspeedway where fans witnessed Hendrick Motorsports Chase Elliott claimed his second victory this season after winning the Ally 400 last week and the DuraMAX Drydene 400 at Dover International Speedway.

Road America will only be hosting a Cup Series race for the third time this weekend after the first one being in 1956 won by Hall of Famer Tim Flock and the second one last year won by now table topper Chase Elliott of Hendrick Motorsports and while the 250 miles race is in progress, fans can witness the track lit to flames with aggressive racing from the Trackhouse team and also from Chase Elliott and Michael McDowell of Team Penske who looks to secure a win this season and this will be the 12th time the Xfinity Series will race on the track with Kyle Busch being the 2021 winner.
