Following the contract extension of Ryan Blaney, Team Penske has successfully extended the contract of 2018 cup series champion Joey Logano. The Daytona 500 and All-Star-Race winner with Team Penske will see his time prolonged beyond 2023 and will be hoping to reward the team with yet another championship win in the future.
Joey Logano joined the Roger Penske-owned outfit in 2013 after a troubled stint at Joe Gibbs Racing which saw him playing second fiddle to Kyle Busch. With 27 seven wins longed over 9 seasons with the team and the championship win in 2018, topping the likes of Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr., and Kevin Harvick in the chase, Logano has been among the most productive Penske driver in NASCAR.
The veteran has also been the best driver for the team in 2022 as he has already secured two wins and stands P4 in the championship table, a handful of points behind teammate Ryan Blaney who remain winless. The on-track aggression and attitude the veteran has produced over the years have left his signature in NASCAR history, and he is a sure contender for the Hall of Fame entry in the future.
