Reddick, who showed class since the first test that took place on the track, led 41 laps of the race for the win and had to survive three overtime shootouts to earn the win. The No:45 Toyota Camry was fast and reliable the whole day, and that was the only thing the team had to do for, Reddick, regarded as one of the best Road Course racers of his generation, to get the win.

Tyler Reddick pointed out that the win is a testament to the time 23XI put into bettering their road course package in the winter. He said,  “This whole 23XI team has been working so hard all winter long to make the road course program better. Was extremely motivated to come in here and prove that performance, too.

Two times Cup champion Kyle Busch, who replaced Reddick at RCR at the start of the season, was impressed with how the 23XI team and Reddick ran. He said, ““When we tested here, they were lights out. Tyler obviously is a really good road racer. He proved it driving this car here last year. I was able to get in it and run right back to him. I’ve been trying to emulate the things he did in order to make this car fast last year, but not quite all the way there,”.
