Denny Hamlin’s awkward porta-potties encounter with Brad Keselowski

Denny Hamlin made headlines at Phoenix for his heated encounter with Ross Chastain on track and the subsequent penalty drama. After the Atlanta Cup race, the JGR veteran made it to the news, though this time, it had nothing to do with his run-on Sunday. Instead, it got to do with the awkward situation he found himself in as he had a run-in with fellow veteran Brad Keselowski just minutes after the race on porta potties.

Keselowski, who scored an impressive P2 in the race, holding off rival Christopher Bell by just 0.001 seconds, quickly exited his car after the stop to go to one of the temporary toilets near the track. In a hurry, the former world champion forgot to lock the door. Hamlin, unaware of it, was caught by Fox’s camera opening the door and quickly closing it after learning about Keselowski’s presence.

The action-detrimental podcast host later went to social media and replied to a comment that showed him approaching the Potty and turning back. He tweeted, “Smelled like Hawaiian Rolls when I got in there,”. The RFK racing driver is yet to respond.

Though at the moment, the day is remembered for Brad Keselowski’s hilarious mistake RFK Racing has hopes that it will turn out to be a perfect start for them. It was their best race of the season, and they were able to extract the maximum outcome of their Ford. Their 2022 was filled with disappointments and unfortunate incidents, and 2023 is the right time for the former Penske driver to prove that he made the right call by purchasing ownership stakes at RFK.
