“Y’all made it worse,” NASCAR Twitter reacts to cup champion Joey Logano’s paint scheme for the 2023 season

Joey Logano

Joey Logano entered Phoenix’s elite group of multiple NASCAR championship holders Last Sunday. He scored his second career cup title for Team Penske Racing. He won the first cup championship back in 2018. Logano finished the season with 4 cup race wins and one exhibition race victory at the season opener, the Las Vegas Colosseum race.

Logano started the race on the pole at Phoenix and went on to lead 187 laps to secure the win. His fellow cup chasers had a disappointing outing, as only Ross Chastain could finish inside the top 10. Both Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott had a poor end to their season.

Just days after his championship win, Team Penske has already revealed the paint scheme the team will use in 2023. The championship-winning car is wrapped in full white and has blue engravings. The paint scheme is associated with his sponsor Auto Club of Southern California.
