Anthony Edwards hilariously compares himself to Muhammad Ali
Anthony Edwards is not only one of the brightest young stars in the NBA but also one of the funniest. Outside the court, he is known for his innocently funny replies that end up winning the internet. Although not a reply, Edwards was back at it again, by hilariously comparing himself to ‘The Greatest’ Muhammad Ali ahead of the T-Wolves’ game with the Golden State Warriors.
The Minnesota Timberwolves certainly had the spirit of Muhammad Ali on Sunday night victory against the Golden State Warriors. The Wolves got a 119-99 blowout victory over the Warriors. The Warriors, however, were without Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, while Klay Thompson remains on a 20-minute playtime restriction by the coaching staff.

Anthony Edwards, however, did not have as good a game as he would have liked. He scored just nine points in 28 minutes of being on the floor. Apart from this, he had only one rebound and two assists in the game, going 3-8 from the field and 2-4 from behind the arc.
Karl Anthony Towns led the scoring for the Minnesota Timberwolves with 26 points. All the T-Wolves starters could not contribute much with Towns. Patrick Beverly and Vanderbilt scored 10 each, while D’Angelo Russell was only able to manage seven points in the game. Malik Beasley and Jaylen Nowell had good games off the bench, scoring 16 and 17 points respectively.

Feel like Muhammad Ali: Anthony Edwards
Before the game, Anthony Edwards was at the training facility, wearing a Versace robe. On the back of the robe, was written in gold, Edwards’ nickname ‘ANTMAN’. Edwards was heard uttering – “I am gonna wear this to the game tonight. I feel like Muhammad Ali coming up.”
Edwards has been averaging 22 points per game, the highest among the players from his Draft Class of 2020. He is also averaging 3.7 assists per game. His shooting has seen a big improvement from the previous season. Ant is shooting 44% from the field and 37.4% from behind the arc this season.
