Dwight Howard’s NSFW reason why he still believes in Lakers
Dwight Howard
Dwight Howard is still looking on the bright side as he sticks to the Lakers struggle but hopes to bounce back even though the Los Angeles Lakers look forward to part ways with him as they want more court mobility. In the absence of Anthony Davis the center position had LeBron James control as the Lakers have now moved on from letting the big guys play in to dominate the post as it didn’t really work for most of their match-ups. Now the Lakers believe in running with more mobility on the court rather than size.
But recently Dwight Howard was put in against the Denver Nuggets as Lakers wanted to slow down the circus of Nikola Jokic as he is often times called a “Joker”. Even after attempting to slow him down nothing really worked for the Los Angeles Lakers as their match-up against the Nuggets at Ball Arena resulted in a 37 points blowout loss as the final box score is 133-96. The Los Angeles Lakers are back at .500 after loosing three games continuously and standing as the 7th seed in the western conference with the record of 21 wins and 22 losses.
Dwight Howard is one of the many veterans the Lakers have on board but since the team is playing “centerless” basketball for quite a while having a unique player like Dwight on board doesn’t really makes sense as they are just wasting his remaining minutes in the league. But Dwight is quite optimistic for the Lakers even though he can be wearing a different uniform by the trade deadline.

Dwight Howard being hopeful for the Los Angeles Lakers
Dwight Howard as the Los Angeles Lakers faced their biggest loss in three years had some facts to quote as he said: “Can’t stop believing that you’re gonna win and just say, ‘F*ck it, let’s give up’. We know we’ve put ourselves in a pretty tough predicament, but all it takes is a couple games and some good energy and some positivity. I’m disappointed losing like this. The conversation about playing better defense, we shouldn’t have to have that conversation. We should all be tired of hearing it and make a difference. It shouldn’t keep coming up.”
Reflecting on the team and not really throwing anyone under the bus he tackled all the questions like a real veteran who knows what to say and when to. Further when asked about the inconsistency he added: “It’s, how bad do we want to win every night?. We haven’t really been consistent all year with that. We have to figure out a way to change that.”
Howard had pure facts with him knowing what has to be done but still the team struggles and continues to play with a veteran hand-picked roaster which they don’t really want to break. But if the streak continues as suggested by Magic Johnson we may find the roaster spacing out soon since the front desk is already active and want to acquire some mobility to win the games as Anthony Davis remains out and most of the time they play without a big man in their line-up.
