The Golden State Warriors hosted Utah Jazz where the Warriors grabbed a marginal win over the Jazz. What was the highlight of the day was Jordan Poole sitting down Jordan Clarkson before burying a 3 pointer.
The Golden State Warriors emerged as winners in a tightly contested match against the Utah Jazz. The Warriors did command most of the match and the Jazz at times equalled the score, it was a night where the Warriors should have had a comfortable win. With Stephen Curry currently not at the peak of his power, and Klay Thompson still recovering, the team did enough to secure a win.
Jordan Poole had a brilliant game along with the fact that he broke Jordan Clarkson’s ankles before burying a 3 pointer. Jordan Poole came out of the game with 20 points. 2 assists and 3 rebounds. In the league, he is averaging 16.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists, and shooting 34% from beyond the arc. Not some stats which would draw significant attention but what he did to Jordan Clarkson was just too good on the court.

Jordan Poole had a great game for the Warriors which eventually ended as a win for them. During the game in the 2nd quarter, Jordan Clarkson of the Utah Jazz shot a two-pointer from a layup, the Warriors brought forward another attack, and this time it was Jordan Poole who took matters into his own hand, he was defended by the latest pointer from the Utah Jazz, he broke his ankles from beyond the arc which sat down Jordan Clarkson and all he could do was face the embarrassment of having your ankles broken and to top it up with a 3-point shot from Jordan Poole.
In the post-match interview, Jordan Poole was asked by a reporter, “ when a defender is like sitting on the ground in front of you, does that make the shot easier or harder?” Jordan Poole took a moment to reflect on the question and got stuck once trying to reply to it, he then laughed and said, “I have no idea”. The whole room burst into laughter, he then topped it off with his reaction which might as well become a meme on the internet.
