LeBron James scored 31 points in what is a 3rd straight victory for the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night against the Sacramento Kings. The Lakers move one game above .500 with a season record of 20-19. Sacramento Kings are 10th in the Western Conference with a 16-23 record.

For the Los Angeles Lakers, Malik Monk added 24 points, drilling in six three-pointers. Russell Westbrook added 19 points, going 7-19 from the field. It was a surprising performance from Westbrook as he had zero turnovers in the game. This was his first zero turnover game since March 14, 2016. He was +17 in the game, the highest for any Laker player in the game.

For the Sacramento Kings, their star player De’Aaron Fox scored 30 points and had six assists for the game. Buddy Hield had 26 points for the night, which included seven three-pointers.

The Lakers had an up and down game, involving multiple lead changes. The Lakers trailed for the entirety of the first quarter before taking the lead in the 2nd. The Lakers again lost the lead late in the 3rd quarters and also late in the 4th quarter making it a clutch game. Malik Monk made a three-pointer with 2:50 remaining in the game to give the Lakers a two-point lead, making the score 112-110. The Lakers then didn’t give the Kings any chance to come back.

LeBron James who has been playing at the Center for the past few games had a hilarious moment at the start of the game during the tip-off. During the tip-off, LeBron didn’t even try to get possession of the ball by not jumping. He just gifted the opening possession to Damian Jones and the Kings. Twitter users had a great time expressing themselves seeing this moment.
