LeBron James Reaches 100M Followers on Instagram

There is no denying that Los Angeles Lakers’ marquee player LeBron James has been one of the best players to have ever stepped into the NBA. Not just being a bully on the court, the 36-years-old is an absolute beast off it as well. Due to which, LeBron James has reached 100M followers on Instagram. Which interestingly is more following than six league combined including NHL, MLB, NBA and NFL.

LeBron James’ 100M followers is the most by any NBA player in its history. He is currently followed by Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors who has following of just over 36 million on Instagram. The NBA’s official account has 60 million on Instagram, the NFL has 21.7 million, MLB has 7.9 million, NHL has 4.9 million, MLS has 2 million and the WNBA has 1.2 million.

Entering the NBA 2021-22 Season, LeBron James seems be under the right momentum to answer his critics once again. Achieving 100m followers on Instagram might not be the best accolade LeBron James might have registered against his name. Yet it is an applauding one. He has been seen taking a stand on social issues numerous times and has been vocal about his beliefs time and again. LeBron James reaching 100m Followers on Instagram only goes to show that his fan base has been expanding season after season and does not look like, it is going to stop any time soon.
