The NBA has announced the third and final results of the All-Star Game fan voting, which will take place on Sunday, February 19, 2023, in Salt Lake City, Utah. LeBron James and Kevin Durant had previously led all players in the Western and Eastern Conferences in the second voting results. But that has since changed to the King and Giannis Antetokounmpo, according to the NBA’s publication of the results on Thursday.

Antetokounmpo has moved 132,014 votes ahead of Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant in the race for the top overall slot in the East. For third place among frontcourt players, Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum has increased his advantage over Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid. Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Kyrie Irving of Brooklyn are the top two guards separated by just 116,808 votes.

LeBron James is ranked first in the Western Conference’s top three frontcourt positions. He is followed by Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets at No. 2 and Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers at No. 3. Forward Zion Williamson of the New Orleans Pelicans is trailing Davis by 77,439 votes. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is ranked first in the guard position group and is 246,167 votes ahead of Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.

In the Western Conference, Doncic and Curry easily lead Ja Morant for the starting backcourt berths. At the same time, Kyrie Irving and Donovan Mitchell take the top spots in the Eastern Conference. In each of these contests, the media and player vote could still have an impact. Several fan favorites, like Austin Reaves, Derrick Rose, and Kevon Looney, are still in the top 10 of their respective races despite having slim chances of competing in the actual All-Star Game.
