Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers handed LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers their 13th loss of the season handed to them by on Tuesday. Going into the game the Lakers were 10-12 in the season riding on a heroic performance by Anthony Davis in past few games. However, James was facing the Cavs without Davis for the second and the last time this regular season.

The Lakers though underdogs were the favorite to win the game until Anthony Davis had to leave them with flu-like symptoms. Donovan Mitchell scored game-high 43 points for the Cavs and sealed the game in 4th quarter. Once Davis left in the 1st quarter, big man Jerret Allen came alive and scored 24 crucial points behind Mitchell.

Although not this season, the Cavaliers are in hope for another championship run in the next few seasons behind Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell scored 29 points in the first half of the game. While leading by 12 points in the 4th quarter, he hit a three-pointer, basically closing the gate for the Lakers to make a return. The Cavs star trash-talked and waved to the Lakers and told them to “Go the F**k Home.”
